Rhodes Trip has left a new comment on the post "monday usage entry no. 1 - impactful":
Is it a question of what the word "impact" is describing when it's being use in a sentence? I can understand that the word "impactful" doesn't clearly express what it is trying to be explained in any given sentence.
Just checking through the online dictionary I was given the definition of "having a great impact or effect" for the word impactful, but again I can see how this word may be less effective in its intended description when used.
Dame uses an iPhone app that gives him new words, meanings, etc. each day, so it's always fun to add new words or understanding to our ever growing vocabulary (better than the 4).
Even more hilarious is when Camryn or Colin use some "bigger" words in a correct sentence, which comes off both shocking and amusing. ;-)
DISCLAIMER: All of the thoughts expressed in this comment were not carefully proofed, so if there is any grammatical errors please do not give up on me as a friend. You can have pity on my shortcomings, but please don't disown me ;-) Oh, and we've got to go have a play date sometime soon!!!
